Organisational / Team Success
“I cannot teach anyone anything, I can only make them think.”
Socrates (469 – 399 BC)
As a manager and a leader, you already know how difficult it is to unite a team or organisation and get each individual to fully focus on the collective goal instead of their own individual requirements. Get your team or organisation to think about collective success.
We take a two pronged approach to this dilemma:
Fully resource the manager / leader to allow them to move from an autocratic, transactional style of leadership and management (how time consuming is it having to tell your employees what to do the whole time?) to a more visionary and charismatic style (letting your employees want to do because you inspire them). It is commonly accepted that each style has a time and a place to be used for best effect. How would it feel to have all these styles and approaches available to you? Take a moment. Go inside yourself now and imagine the successes you could have with this flexibility of management and leadership. What do those success look like? How do they sound to you? How do they feel?
The second approach is to fully resource the organisation or team. Imagine your team with more of the resources listed below. How empowered would they feel? How much would they feel valued with such investments in them? How much success would you see from them?
If the images in your head appeal to you, would the following be of use to you or your team to achieve more success?
